It was a day like any other. The morning set shuffled into the tent. There was the rumble of anticipation, then cheers as I came out. I went through my usual routine, and of course they loved it. But then I saw him. The same boy I had seen week after week. That beautiful boy. It had been a while since I’d seen him, he hadn’t stopped by for some time. And I know why.

I tried not to look at him too much, but it was obvious to everyone in the crowd that I was really doing this show for him. He was finally looking at me and only me. I looked away for a second, just a second, then he was gone. My heart sank because I knew it happened again. It was her. She took him away from me.

After the show, I had some time in between to go look for him. I tried not to go where I knew she took him, but that was the only place left to look. The performers all stay in an area a little ways away from the main circus tents for privacy, so I made my way there. I knew as soon as I saw, her tent was jumping around like it was possessed. I took a step towards it and heard his voice mixed in with her stupid little grunts and moans. That dumb little mime.

I had to know for sure so I peeked inside, and there they were. She had her hands all over him. She was doing all sorts of things to him. She was ruining him. All with that stupid, smug face and her big, fat ass. I tried to look away, but I couldn’t. I had to know what she had done so I could remember. And I would remember. I remember everything she’s taken from me. I was the star of the circus, I was the one he looked at. I was his favorite. Until that striped cow came along. I hate her. I hate her. Then I got a great idea. I couldn’t let her take everything from me. I couldn’t let her get away with it. So I came up with a plan. A plan to take everything away from her, like she did to me. A plan to take him back. I knew exactly what to do. I knew exactly who to call. They would take care of that stupid slut for me. Then him and I could finally be together. Just him and I. No stupid mimes. It’ll be perfect…
