Hi everybody! Tara is my first attempt at creating an OC! I definitely feel like there is a lot of room for improvement, but when I got halfway through the story, I couldn't get it passed myself to change her anymore. "She's perfect because she IS imperfect!" I thought. (Is this how parents feel?) RE: OC Pool Party! Tara's debut!

Tara was deeply engrossed in her new video game, 'Doki Doki School Life', when her phone suddenly buzzed with a notification. She didn't recognize the sender's number, but curiosity got the better of her. She opened the message to find an invitation from someone named @octavian to an OC pool party happening later that day. Tara didn't know anyone named Octavian, so she figured it was just a wrong number. She was about to clarify the mistake when inspiration struck. "Wait, this could be my chance to finally make some friends!" she thought. "I’m an OC too, so surely I'd be allowed to join their party, right?" Then, reality hit her. She didn't even own a swimsuit. The invitation said the party started at 6:00 PM, giving her just enough time to go shopping. She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and winced. "Yikes, I look like a zombie. I guess that's what I get for playing video games all night... Well, no matter. I'll just hit the shops now and take a shower later." #Operation 'Making Friends' – Start# *Mission 1: Buy a swimsuit* *Mission 2: Make myself presentable* *Mission 3: Be on time* She quickly changed into something decent and stepped outside. "Whoa there, sun! Were you always this bright?" she muttered, squinting. She hadn't left the house in days, but she quickly adapted and hurried down the street. When she reached the bustling shopping district, she began hunting for a place that sold swimwear. Before long, she found herself stepping into a nice clothing boutique and navigating toward the swimsuit aisle. "Oh no, I have absolutely no idea what looks good on me," she realized, staring at the racks. "I guess I’ll just have to try on a bunch and see what sticks." She brought an armful of options into the changing room. The selection ranged from classic bikinis to full-body wetsuits and everything in between. But none of them felt quite right. Then, a familiar design caught her eye. The moment she saw it, she knew it was the one. *Mission 1: Buy a swimsuit – Complete* Now, it was time to rush home, freshen up, and get ready for the party. However, the moment Tara stepped back into her bedroom, she froze. The room was an absolute disaster zone of half-eaten pizza's and discarded soda cans. "Oh, this won't do at all!" she panicked. "What if my new friends find out that I live like a slob?! I have to clean this up right now!" She went into a complete cleaning frenzy. *Bonus Mission: Clean my room – Complete* With her room spotless, Tara finally hopped into the shower. She thoroughly washed her hair and body, letting the warm water wash away days of gaming fatigue. By the time she stepped out, she felt completely reborn. *Mission 2: Make myself presentable – Complete* She hastily dried off, but when she checked the clock, her heart dropped. "Oh no! It’s 5:45 already?!" she gasped. "I need to move! If I’m late, they’re going to think I’m totally lame." With no time to spare, she threw her new swimsuit on—skipping her regular clothes entirely—and bolted out the front door. On her way to the pool, she definitely drew some strange looks from confused pedestrians, but she didn't care. The only opinions that mattered today were those of her potential new friends. She arrived at the address from the invitation at exactly 5:59 PM. "Phew... made it with seconds to spare!" She paused outside the entrance, taking a moment to catch her breath before stepping inside. *Mission 3: Be on time – Complete* Inside, Octavian was lounging by the pool, relaxing with his girls. They all looked up in surprise when an unfamiliar girl suddenly came bursting toward them. "Hi! Are you Octavian?" Tara panted, offering a nervous smile. "I think you sent your invitation to the wrong number by accident, but I really wanted to come and make some friends. Is it okay if I stay?" Octavian chuckled and shook his head. "Wrong number? No, I knew exactly who I was messaging. You're Tara, right? Terror2 told me all about you at the BetterWaifu Bar last night. He mentioned you were new in town and looking to meet people, so I figured I’d invite you." Tara’s face lit up with pure joy. "Does that mean... you all want to be my friends?!" "Of course we do, sweetie!" Jennifer replied. Selina chimed in with a nod. "Us OCs have to stick together. Who knows what crazy things our creators are going to make us do next?" "Exactly," Jennifer agreed. "We girls have to stick together and talk about these things." "Yeah, otherwise we'll end up going totally insane like those other two crazy bitches!" Rachel added with a laugh. Tara could hardly contain her excitement. "Wow, this is amazing! I never expected to make seven new friends today—and one of them is a total stud!" she thought, glancing shyly at Octavian's body. "Well, you're just the first guest," Octavian said with a welcoming grin. "I expect a few more to arrive soon. For now, let's just relax, enjoy the pool, and get to know each other. #Operation 'Making Friends' – Successful#
