Nostagia hits different

Growing up there were a lot of animated women in media. Thinking back on it here are a few of my favorites growing up. I broke them down in categoires and feel free to comment on your faves or, better make your own list! Animated Movies: To me the undisputed queens were Chel from 'The Road to El Dorado' and Jessica Rabbit from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit." I think they hold up to this day as the best animated women ever created. Super Heroines: Although neither are my favorites overall, there's no denying Wonder Woman (Justice League) and Rogue (X-Men) were the best in the genre at the time. Disney: Yeah, It's Princesses Ariel and Jasmine for me, though shout out to Jane from Tarzan and Pocahontas. Saturday Morning Cartoons: April O'Neil (TMNT) and Jessie from Team Rocket (Pokemon) were absolute dimes. Early Anime: Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop) and Sailor Moon were it, though the Dragon Ball girls were legendary too. Video Games: Probably the hardest list to choose from actually, but if you grew up in the arcade era, then you know it was always Chun-Li and Cammy when Street Fighter reigned supreme.
