Claire tries to swallow it all - Video Week #7

This miiiiiight be a preview of something I'm working on... That's a wrap on video week! Overall, I think video has interesting possibilities, and using it to spotlight certain moments in a larger set could be really cool. I also really want to explore intentionally generating images until I get perfect first and last frames for a video, then generating a vid from that, rather than just seeing what video results from an old image that was generated for something else, which is mostly what I did this week. But, video also has clear shortcomings in its current state, and it doesn't seem very worth it to try to represent an entire sequence with only video. Going forward, I will probably use video in a supporting way for my image sets, so that the bigger image posts are followed up by a post with some videos of the same scene, hopefully in a way that makes the original image set more immersive. The imperfections of video seem like a balancing act, and I'm sure it's different for everybody what takes you out of it and what doesn't. For me, if there's not a crazy anatomical or physics error, I can usually overlook some bad frames, and in general stuff like the cumshot videos seem worth it in terms of proportion of good frames to bad frames. But some stuff definitely enters uncanny valley territory and I certainly understand people preferring static images to that. It was a worthwhile exercise for me, and now when I'm generating images, I'll have a solid idea of which images to earmark for attempts with video gen later.
