I was very honored to be included in that list and after I made a post to honor them back, I decided to share the love even further and feature 10* more creators who inspire me on BetterWaifu.

I went through everybody's accounts and picked out my personal favorites to pay tribute to.
I adhered to the 3 golden rules originally set by Octavian:

1) If there was a remix, I remixed it.

Sprinting with superhuman speed, she engages the power suit in combat. No, this has to end here! I sprint forward and unleash a hail of bullets at Amber. She parries a kick from the power suit and charges at me. I block her claws with my left arm while swinging my pistol toward her head with my right. Sparks fly where she struck my arm; I aim the pistol at her skull and fire. She staggers backward, and the power suit's pilot seizes the chance to knock her off her feet. We both back away from Amber as she rises from the ground once more. The pilot fires an energy beam from a weapon integrated into the suit's arm. It hits Amber and sets her ablaze; she freezes in place and smiles. Flames completely engulf her.

Pilot: That was very reckless, Ms. AD Police.
Hana: Excuse me?

We don't get to say anything else; the flames consuming Amber reveal her true form. It no longer resembles a woman—it is a machine. Its glowing eyes lock onto us; it is a figure out of a nightmare, and it attacks immediately. We narrowly dodge its attack, and it lunges at the Power Suit like a berserker. Damn—my gear is useless against that thing; I can only watch the two of them trading blows. My earpiece suddenly comes to life, snapping me back to reality.

Chris: Hana! Listen closely! The Chief has ordered the removal of the limiters on your arms. There’s a micro-EMP generator built into them; you can use it to weaken the Boomer enough for the energy beam to take it out. The generator should be available in your arm systems now. Quick!
Hana: What the— Chris...
Chris: I’ll explain later, but first you all have to survive.

The connection cuts out. Okay, I activate the generator; waves of energy ripple across my arms as it charges up. A message appears in my field of vision: EMP Ready! I take a deep breath and charge at the machine.

Hana: Hey, you piece of junk—I’m still here!

Its vocal mechanism seems to have failed; all that comes out is a low growl. But it seems to work—it breaks off its attack on the Power Suit and turns on me. I drop into a defensive stance, ready to block the strike and counterattack.

Pilot: Have you lost your mind?

The words burst out of her, and I have to admit—it *is* madness. The attack comes from the left, and I manage to parry it with my right arm. At the same time, the EMP charge focuses in my left fist; I strike its chest, and the charge transfers on impact. It staggers, its movements sluggish—it’s WOUNDED.

Hana: Quick! Fire the energy beam straight into its chest!

I scream as I dive for cover. The pilot wastes no time; she fires and scores a hit. The machine crashes to the ground. Its eyes go dark, and it begins to burn from the inside out.

The open door reveals the bedroom; it looks just like the other rooms. Against the far wall stands a bed; sitting on it is Ankha—her legs drawn up tight, her arms wrapped around her knees. It must have an emotional cause. I sit down beside her on the bed and gently pull her into an embrace. I caress over her hair and speak soothingly to her. We remain like this for a few minutes until she finally notices me.

Akiko: Hey, it’s good that you’re back here.

Her voice cracks; I have to be careful she doesn't slip back into a state of shock.

Akiko: Shhhh, everything is fine, sweetie. I’m here. Just calm down.

I can't say how long we just sit there, but she gradually begins to settle down. Her body has stopped trembling.

There’s a park located in front of the Genom building; I hope they’re waiting for me there—I desperately need some answers. A few minutes later, I find the three of them. The woman who was attacked by... what was her name again? Oh, right—Amber. She is sitting on a set of stairs, visibly shaken; her face is injured, and tears are streaming down her cheeks. The other two look dejected; the woman with long brunette hair is still rubbing her neck. She’s lucky Amber didn’t break her neck. They notice me as I approach them.

Hana: Thanks for waiting for me. I honestly didn't expect you to still be here. I’m Hana Amano—a detective with the Homicide Division of the AD Police. And you are?

Sobbing, the woman on the stairs answers first, followed by the dark-haired woman.

Irene: Irene Chang.
Linna: I’m Linna, and this is Priss. We’re friends of Irene’s.

The long-haired brunette looks at me with disdain but says nothing. She’s reckless—and that’s dangerous. I shouldn’t underestimate her.

Her voice breaks, and she begins to sob as her grief overwhelms her.

Her composure shatters amidst her tears, and she simply weeps uncontrollably. Roy? Roy Chang? I read that name on the list of victims. She doesn't know yet... She came here clinging to the hope that he might still be alive. I walk over to her and take her hand.

Hana: I’m so sorry. Your husband didn't survive the explosion. I don't know the exact circumstances yet, but his name was on the list of victims.

The expressions on the other two women's faces darken; Irene looks to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown. By telling her the truth, I’ve stripped away the very last shred of hope she had that her husband was still alive.

Priss: Oh, just great, Ms. AD Police. I’ve had enough—I’m leaving.

Priss pushes herself away from the pillar she’d been leaning against and walks away. I don't stop her, as I’m still occupied with Irene. Linna, however, stays behind and walks over to join us.

Linna: Please don't be angry with Priss. She... hasn't had very good experiences—neither with Boomers nor with the AD Police.
Hana: I understand. Linna, right? Did Irene do anything that might have given Amber a reason to use force?
Linna: No, she just briefly touched Mason on the arm, and then...
Hana: I understand. Thank you for the information. Could you please look after Irene? She really shouldn't be alone right now.
Linna: Of course. I’ll do that.

Linna helps the still-sobbing Irene to her feet, says her goodbyes, and leads her away. I stay behind for a few minutes to gather my thoughts. Finally, I head back to my car. I bring up my holographic interface to document everything, then I send all the data to Chris; I’m hoping he can find a connection.

A few days later:

I encouraged Irene to come to the gym with me, and today, she finally worked up the courage to do it. She still isn't feeling well, but it’s a start; I can’t even begin to imagine what she’s going through right now. After we finish our workout, we linger for a bit to talk about Roy.

Linna: I understand—he wanted to make more time for you once the project was over.
Irene: The project was important to him, but...

She gazes pensively at the ring she wears on her right hand. I touch her on the shoulder, and she looks up at me.

Irene considers whether she needs anything else, but she doesn't stop at any of the stalls. I let my gaze wander over the merchandise on display. Suddenly, something catches her attention.

Irene: Uh, Linna—tell me, isn't that your car getting towed right over there?
Linna: What do you mean...?
