Jenny Potter Prevails

The last time we saw plucky Jenny Potter, she'd been standing stark naked on the beach of a Caribbean island, pondering her next move. Jenny began walking inland and soon came upon a woman doing her outdoor laundry chores. The woman, Sarah Miller, was taken aback when she saw Jenny. "My goodness, girl, what happened to you? Why aren't you dressed?" Jenny told Sarah about her misadventure with the scallywags who took her clothes and her money and marooned her on this island. Sarah sighed. "Men. They can be such right bastards, can't they? Well, my girl, I think I can help you. I've got some clothes that should fit you. Also, if you want work, my husband Silas runs a tavern and is looking for a girl who can be a tavern wench and a dancer." Jenny's face brightened. "Thank you ever so much, Missus! I'm no stranger to honest work, and I've been told I can charm the lads with my marvelous jigs! Thank you again!" So our Jenny serves ale and food at the Silver Stallion tavern and, on Friday and Saturday nights, entertains customers with her spirited dancing.
