Goblin Lovers: Zahra & Yahtzi

I was motivated by seeing my ideas inspire @zesoul so I thought I would take after their creativity and share some of my individual characters too :) - Zahra Bittleback (redhead): A born leader and talented soldier within the walls of Steel City, Zahra was always expected to rise to greatness from her family, friends and peers. At a young age, she was scouted by a PMC known as the Sunless Ravens, who were renowned for being a brutal mercenary corps. Developing most of her skills from her time with the Sunless Ravens, it didn't take long for Zahra to realize she was missing something in her life. She lacked a spark that she could see in so many others around her. Deciding that her future was not in military contract work, Zahra left the PMC, to the great dismay of her family, who ended up disowning her. Zahra was lost after this incident, feeling more alone than ever, taking on oddjobs and strongarm work in the city, just to pay bills. It was during this time, she took a job from a local protection racket to go collecting. She came upon a small but charming nightclub, known as the Rusted Rose, where she met the most amazing woman of her life, another goblin by the name of Yahtzi. Zahra is a skilled combatant, and extremely adept at tactical espionage. She is a lousy cook, relying on fast food, take-out and Yahtzi's cooking to kepe herself sustained. Despite her lack of "normal," life skills, Zahra is still rather social, and enjoys a good party, some gambling and dancing with her love, Yahtzi, if for no other reason than to gloat to any onlookers how lucky she is to have Yahtzi in her life. - Yahtzi Yunora (dark green hair): Known by many as the proprietor of the Shade's best hole-in-the-wall nightclub, the Rusted Rose, Yahtzi is a well respected and highly sought after woman within the Shade levels of Steel City. She is a shrewd business woman, with a keen eye for talent and an uncanny knack for reading people as though they were made of freshly cleaned glass. Yahtzi, or Zizi, as her friends call her, knows the city like the back of her hand, which draws unwanted attention from entities that desire to keep track of all sorts of movements within the city's walls. The Neon Spectres, a local gang of chromed out thugs, led by a cunning and manipulative leader, generally keeps the Rusted Rose and Zizi on a short leash. Though a relationship not without merits, such as protection from other gangs and factions, it is one that Zizi would much rather be without. While attempting to find a way around her insufficient funds for an expected payment to the Spectres, Zizi was surprised to find that the enforcer they had sent was no ordinary thug, but a legendary, if a little washed out, mercenary, but what she could never have predictated was that this woman was not only going to solve all of Zizi's financial woes with the Spectres, but that she was going to be the greatest love of Zizi's life. Keen eyed and socially gifted, Yahtzi finds her cup overflowing with those who would call her friend, but she believes, under the surface, that she has truly no real companions. Zizi has always felt a deep sense of hollowness, like an echoe, ringing throughout her chest every time someone drops a false flattery or sweet nothing in her ear. Despite her social graces and amazing poise, Yahtzi has always felt a deep sense of loneliness, and unfortunetly, has had an incredibly hard time letting her guard down with others, due to it. Despite her forlorn mentality, she is no stranger to acting the part, appearing at many parties, seemingly enjoying the comforts of drink, dance and companionship. Truth be it told, she overindulges in such things to avoid facing her own growing numbness. Despite being bisexual, Yahtzi slightly prefers women, though she has a much harder time opening up to them, thanks to an extremely poor relationship she had with her aunt, who raised her from early childhood, thanks to a shooting spree that took Zizi's parents away from her. When attempting to drown the voices in the back of her mind, Zizi can be found in the backrooms of her club, usually enjoying a private show, or engaging one of her strippers in some, "recreational," activity. Many of Zizi's staff have developed strong feelings for her, though Zizi never reciprocates beyond physical pleasures.
