More Than A Mere Consort

I arrived in Port Amberton, Aladaria’s major seaport, in the mid-morning. I managed to hire a coach-and-four to take me (and my baggage) to Fairmeadow, Aladaria’s capital city and the home of Queen Beatrice, Aladaria’s ruler. The queen’s major-domo, a fellow named Higgins, greeted me, bade me welcome, and arranged for my baggage to be taken to a royal guest room in the palace. Higgins escorted me to the royal reception hall, then took his leave. As Minister without Portfolio, I find myself attending to certain diplomatic duties at the behest of my sovereign, Queen Morgana. In this instance, I am charged with pursuing a trade agreement between Aladaria and my home nation of Melodony. As I entered the reception hall, I noticed a most beautiful woman standing by a reception hall table. She was a brunette with hazel eyes and a stunning figure, all the more stunning due to the fact that she was naked from the waist up. She wore a rich purple loincloth and brown sandals. She approached me, smiled, and said, "Greetings, Minister Ravenscroft. I am Helene, and on behalf of Queen Beatrice, I welcome you to Aladaria." She offered me her hand, which I dutifully kissed. "Unfortunately, Her Majesty could not be here to greet you, as her grandfather has taken ill and she wishes to be with him as he recovers from his sudden illness," Helene said. "In the meantime, the Queen has charged me to meet with you and pursue a trade agreement between our two countries." Confused, I asked Helene what title she held to enable her to act as her queen’s agent. "I am Queen Beatrice’s Declared Companion, Minister. Her Majesty and I have a most private and intimate relationship. She has conferred various duties upon me, including this discussion of a trade agreement." Helene smiled at me and pressed her body against mine. "I must admit, I find this duty and you most attractive." She gently placed her hand against my groin. Helene gave a slight gasp, then looked at me with a sly smile. "I believe you and I can reach an understanding, Minister.
