She manages lift up her head, wiggle the fingers and toes. - “I can not see you, but I can smell your cheap cologne” Detective Pearl says to the void. - “Finally, she wakes up” A male voice is heard behind her. She is not afraid. *If that man wanted to hurt me, he would have done that by now. Instead he kept me hanging here, like a hunter’s trophy* Pearl thinks. - “Enjoying the view??” She asks. - “Very much! It is not every day that one gets to admire the great Detective Pearl Jennings in the flesh.
