For the past several nights, Caroline has had the same dream. She's walking along a street in a strange city, completely naked. It's morning in this city, and fully clothed people walk past her, yet nobody reacts to Caroline's presence. Caroline notices that the other people are walking toward the city's center, while she walks away from it, as though she has a definite purpose to fulfill. As Caroline continues walking, she hears an incessant beeping sound. Caroline wakes up from the dream and realizes the beeping is her alarm clock. Caroline is considering turning off the clock's alarm function just to see what happens...
