So this is it, the headquarter of the police in Mega Tokyo the AD Police Tower. I've to admit it's quite impressiv. The buildings entrence is a large windowed gate, it opened as i step trough it. In the large entery hall is much going on, many police officers are going about their work. It's quite noisy, i can't even hear myself think. I had no idea they were so busy, as a secret unit, we wouldn't normally come into contact with that. Ah there is the reception desk may i can find out here where i've to go. As i get near the desk the officer behind take notice of me and beckons me over.

Officer: Ah miss Amano, good morning. I hope recovered well from your injuries?
Hana: Good morning, yes i feel much better, thank you. Do we meet before?
Officer: No ma'am, but it's my job to know who enter this building.
Hana: Impressiv, anyway would you please tell where i can find the homicite office? I don't want to late at my frist day.
Officer: I fear i can't do that, the chief wants to see you frist.
Hana: The Chief? Can't this wait until I introduced myself?
Officer: His order was unambiguous, i fear. His office is on the top floor, please take the elevator on the left side of reception.
Hana: Allright, thank you very much.

He nods and gestures towards the elevator. I'm getting used to the noise level by now. I catch snippets of conversation: "Have seen her arms?" as the elevator doors closing. I push the button for the top floor and the elevator starts moving. I can understand their concern, such cyberware is not widespread. As i reach the top floor i enter a hallway which leads to the chiefs office. I stop at the door and knock. After a few secounds the chiefs voice, invites me in. I grab the door handle and open the door. Shit did i just broke the door handle? I've to watch the force level of what i grab, i hope i won't harm somebody. The chief is sitting on a couch, he is watching as i enter the office. I salute and wait that he take the word.

Chief: Good morning STG Amano, how do feel?
Hana: Good morning Sir, there must a misstake i don't have the rank of STG.
Chief: There is no misstake STG, now you are. After all what happened, that's the least I could do. Please take a seat.
Hana: Thank you Sir!

He gestures to a armchair and i follow his lead.

Chief: You are here, so i can brief you myself. Offically the squat was disbanded, i spread this rumor so the corperation can think they are save. Every member of the squat is now on a undercover mission. Through our whistle blower and the information you gathered during your imprisonment. The divice he wanted to hand over was called OMS, we don't have any reports over it in our files. However the are rumors that it could be related to the boomer cases. Your job at homicite is to find clues for this and find out how many murders are actually committed by boomers.
Hana: Yes i understand Sir!
Chief: I don't have to remind that the misson is classified as top secret!
Hana: Understood Sir!
Chief: Good, now back to my question. How do feel?
Hana: Better then i thought Sir, i get along with these cyberarms but i've to watch out with the force level. I fear i broke the door handle of your door Sir.
Chief: Don't worry about the door handle. Give it time but let your arm recalibrate, this could be a problem. Allright do you have any questions?
Hana: Sir did heared something from Ryu?
Chief: Yes he is doing fine. I know that you two are related but please hold on a little bit longer, ok?
Hana: Allright Sir.
Chief: That's all for now, go to changing room and take your AD Police vest and introduce you to CAP Tanaka.
Hana: Yes Sir!

I salute again and left his office. On the way to the changing room i take the elevator to the 5th floor and walk down the hallway. I take a look around as i enter until i find a locker with my name on it. Inside is a AD Police vest, i grab it and put it on. I close the locker and went to go. As soon as i step out of the door i running in somebody. Surprisingly i closed my eyes.

???: Hey that hurts, can't you watch out?
Hana: I'm sorry i didn't see you coming.

Before me, a young woman is sitting on the ground nearly shocked as i'm. I give her a hand and lift her up.

Hana: I'm sorry officer... Romanova. I'll more careful from now on.
Officer Romanova: Where did you know my name? I didn't introduce my self yet...
Hana: Your name sign?
Officer Romanova: Oh yes... in that case you are... detectiv Amano.
Hana: Are you injured?
Officer Romanova: What me? No no i'm fine... i be late i've to go now... bye until next time.

She smiled at me and as fast we ran in each other she is gone. Strange woman, now to CAP Tanaka.

Mega Tokyo, metropolis, den of iniquity, home and meat grinder. That describes it best, a city leaded through mega-corporations that have no fear of the law. Corruption, murder, violence, and prostitution characterize these days. Recently, a new threat has been rapidly increasing. Androids, meant to ease our daily workload, are running amok. Officially, these berserk androids are called Boomers, the number of victims is terrifying the city. There are still no clues as to why they went berserk and left a trail of destruction in their wake. Rumors suggest that the mega-corporation Genom is involved. The AD police cannot prove any involvement to Genom, here too there are rumors about corrupt police officers in high positions. People who know too much disappear without a trace, carelessly whether they are corporate employees, scientists, politicians, military personnel, police officers, or just ordinary citizens who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. The government and leadership of AD police established a special unit to combat corporate terrorism. The status of this unit is classified as top secret. My name is Hana Amano and i'm a member of this squat. A childhood friend of me Ryu Yamamura was the leader of the squat, for me he was much more. There 6 more squat members beside who fight with us against the corporations. Our last mission against a Genom facility was a failure, we were betrayed by a member of our team. I was captured during the escape, they tourtured me for days and in a last act of violence they shattered me foreamrs and elbows. Short after that Ryu managed to rescue me, for arms all help came to late. The only thing that they could for me at the hospital was to amputate and replace them with cyberware.

During the the recovery process i met the nurse Akiko Watanabe, she shares the fate than me. She lost her arms in a car accident, without her I would not have been able to overcome the mental trauma. In this time at the hospital, she became a close friend of mine. One day she gave a massage from Ryu, he went into hiding, the squat was disbanded. All left members will be assigned to other departments, in my case i was assigned to homicide. After 2 long month of recovery, i was finally discharged from the hospital. It's time to find the traitor and find out way he betrayed us. But first I have to start my service in the AD police homicide commission.
