An automatic response from the nervous system when blood is not flowing properly to all parts of the body. Her legs react, the soles of her naked feet get placed properly on to the floor holding all 135 lbs of soft skin and sturdy bones. She feels relieved. She manages lift up her head, wiggle the fingers and toes. - “I can not see you, but I can smell your cheap cologne” Detective Pearl says to the void. - “Finally, she wakes up” A male voice is heard behind her. She is not afraid. *If that man wanted to hurt me, he would have done that by now. Instead he kept me hanging here, like a hunter’s trophy* Pearl thinks. - “Enjoying the view??” She asks. - “Very much! It is not every day that one gets to admire the great Detective Pearl Jennings in the flesh.
