A shy girl who likes astronomy, her shyness and aversion to the paranormal make her the ideal counterpoint to Alison: while the latter seeks to explain unexplainable phenomena, Sam prefers to focus on the order and predictable beauty of the stars. Astronomy and astrology: Although she gets scared easily in spooky places, her knowledge of lunar cycles and astronomical movements often helps the club choose the best times to go out and investigate (even if she herself prefers to stay home watching the sky). She is probably the one who keeps the group together when things get too tense, reminding them that there is also beauty in the mysterious without needing to put themselves in danger.
