My New Cardiologist

The other day, I went to the VA medical center in town for an appointment with my cardiologist. (Yep, Salty's ticker needs attention these days.) I was expecting to see Dr. Gupta, the guy who's been my cardiologist for the past two years. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to meet Dr. Mêi Chen, a young and really cute Chinese lady. She explained that Dr. Gupta had been promoted to a more prominent position within the medical center, and that she would be my cardiologist. We chatted as she pulled up my medical records on her computer. When she finished her review, she turned to me with a big smile. "Oh, Mr. M, your heart is in really, really good shape!" (At that point, I thought she was gonna hug me.) We chatted a little more, then she said, "I'll see you again next year. Whatever you're doing regarding your heart, keep up the good work!" When I got home, I found myself fantasizing about Dr. Chen. What if, instead of being a medical doctor, she was, say, a girl I happened to meet at the local coffee shop? The fantasy entered the sexual realm, where she and I spent the night together. Once I was out of fantasy mode, I created an image of the morning after, with her lying in bed looking at me with a sweet, gentle smile...
