Tags: @terror2 > Interviewer M: Merci > Welcome back to the Midnight Hour, the only hand-crafted, locally aired late night show in Stardust Crossing. I’m your host Johnny Rocket and tonight we bring you another interview with a fascinating member of our great city. Please, say hello to the audience. M: Um… H-hello there. I’m supposed to introduce myself, yes? > That’s right, don’t be nervous. Whenever you’re ready. M: *deep breath* Hello. My name is Merci Delacroix. A pleasure to make your acquaintance. > My, so polite! Feel free to be casual, we’re all chill here on the Midnight Hour. M: Oh… okay. I’ll do my best! > That’s the spirit! Do you have a nickname you’d prefer? M: Well, my fan club calls me the Blue Rose Angel, but that's kind of embarrassing. Merci, is fine. > You have a fan club? M: U-unoffically! They don't cause any trouble though, so it's fine. > Well, hopefully some of them are tuning in tonight, I’m sure they’ll be delighted to hear from you. M: *affirming* > Tell me, what do you do for work? M: I’m a councillor at St. Lucia’s Cathedral. I also do volunteer work at the local park. > Sounds like a lot of charity work. How do you pay your bills? M: I get a small salary from the church and the rest is from odd jobs. Food delivery, commissions, modelling, stuff like that. > Sounds like a busy life. Have time for any hobbies? M: I read… play? Um, visual novel games are fun. Sometimes I grab a coffee and people watch at the mall or the park. I do choir around the holidays too. > Girl, I think you might be doing too much. M: I feel like I'm never doing enough, actually. I almost have to force myself to take a break, and that usually when I'm already tired so I don't have a lot of energy for personal hobbies. > It might not be healthy to push yourself that hard. M: Oh, I know my limits. The girls look out for me too, bless them. > Good to hear. What’s your playlist looking like? M: Music? I tend to like retro stuff. Hair metal, disco, electronica, you know? I’ve actually been really into City Pop lately. > Hey, the golden oldies are classics for a reason. M: Yeah! If it stuck around this long, it's gotta be worth listening to, right? > How about your favorite food? M: Oh boy. Too many. Muffins, cakes, a nice cream cheese bagel, oh, and coffee. I like breakfast roasts the best. Oh, and pastries. Like... um, I dont know what they're called but the flaky ones with the spot of jam or cream cheese in the middle. So good~ > Keeping the cafes in business I see. M: You could say that. *laughs* > What’s your favorite place in town? M: The lake out behind the park. It's so peaceful there. I don’t have room for a pet where I live so I try to look after the ducks and turtles when I visit. > Oh, and where are you staying? M: You need my address? > No, no. Just in general terms. M: Ah. Um, I rent a room above a local cafe. It's quite nice, but it's just the one room so I have to live pretty simply. > I think we got a little out of order here, sorry about that. *shuffles papers* Here we are, do you have any special talents? M: I can make my wings disappear. See? *chime sound* > Oh, they really vanished! M: *giggles* > What about the halo? M: It's permanent. > I see, I see. Quite spectacular. Do you have a bestie? M: Vega! She’s just the best. We hang out at the park all the time. > Cute! Anyone get on your bad side? M: Um… I wish Sweetheart wouldn't lie so much. Well, lie might be the wrong word. She likes to exaggerate everything to get a reaction and feel so gullible when I fall for it. > I’m sure it's all in good fun. Anything weigh on your mind? M: I used to feel kind of useless. I don't want to ever go back to that. I want to be of help wherever I can. > With your activity list, I don't think you have anything to worry about. What’s your ideal date? M: Something really romantic and sentimental. Like a picnic, or a cozy campfire in the woods. > Just the two of you all alone? Anything could happen like that. M: I j-just think it sounds romantic. > Dream vacation spot? M: Mont St. Michael, in France. It looks like it’d be really fun to fly around there, and it's so pretty when the water is around. > Oh, sounds fancy. Got any sexy fantasies? M: Huh?! No, no, no, absolutely not. > It's okay, you don't have to answer. M: *incomprehensible* > Haha, it's all good. We ask that for the ratings anyway. Any last words for our listeners? M: People really value my advice, but to be honest I don't really know what I’m doing. I just try my best to listen. > Hey, that’s all we can ask for.
