Aliens of Tassith: Purna

Enter the purna. These facultative bipeds are the most primitive of the sapient humanoids on Tassith. Their cultures often focus on the celebration of the body, considering them to be beautiful works of art. This applies to any of the creatures of Tassith, so don't be surprised if one were to stare at your body, regardless of your species. Purna are primal and lascivious by nature, so as long as one is comfortable with the advances or provocations of a purna, then most encounters with their kind can be friendly, if not outright sexual. Purna are happy to live in the deadly swamplands, and have the natural constitution to back it up. They are highly resistant to most diseases and illnessess, which behooves their survival, but makes them a target to gene splicers all across the galaxy. Luckily, purna are very hard to catch, if they're not in the mood to play. While not unfriendly with the other sapient humanoids of Tassith, purna tend to stick to their own kind, though sometimes curiosity, or carnal lust, gets the better of them and they just have to go see the other natives for themselves. Should a purna ever lock all three of its eyes on your own, it is considered an immense sign of trust in some of their cultures. In a few, this act is even considered a show of deep affection.
