They met at The One Eyed Cat, a local 24/7 diner right around the corner from the station. The safest place in all of HornyTown because it is usually crowded with `blues’. - “Lady from first post - watch out - dangerous.” Repeated the Commissioner. - “Yes, that’s all the guy said according to the nurse.” - “Could he be referring to the bar ’First Post’? The one at the end of Leadership Street over at the docks?” Asked the Commissioner. - “That’s exactly what I thought” replayed Pearl “The owner is a powerful woman, and if there is someone that knows what goes in and out of Waifu Bay that would be her” - “Of course! Why didn’t I think of her in the first place” - “It’s because she has managed to lay low for a while now” Said Pearl. “Oh, and the guy who fled the hospital…? Johnny Astor" - “Flower boy??” Pearl nods. Commissioner wets his mustache on the coffee cup as he takes a big sip and thinks. Then: - “Jennings, from now on you are off the uniform. I need you undercover. No one at the docks will talk to a ‘blue’. I’ll assemble a surveillance team on point to be ready if anything goes south.” - “Yes, sir” Commissioner gets up.
