The words burst out of her, and I have to admit—it *is* madness. The attack comes from the left, and I manage to parry it with my right arm. At the same time, the EMP charge focuses in my left fist; I strike its chest, and the charge transfers on impact. It staggers, its movements sluggish—it’s WOUNDED. Hana: Quick! Fire the energy beam straight into its chest! I scream as I dive for cover. The pilot wastes no time; she fires and scores a hit. The machine crashes to the ground.
