Etoral and the cursed sword

A cinematic final scene. The lone, battered warrior stands victorious, yet a swirling vortex of inky, malevolent darkness erupts from the ground, coiling around their form. The dark aura consumes them, their armor dissolving into shimmering motes of light to reveal the kneeling princess beneath, her regal gown tattered. She looks at her hands in dazed confusion and whispers in Japanese, "Nani ga okotta no?"
