The Hunger: Walpurgis Night

She was her, and so was she. The hunger was in them both, united them, for they were one and the same. She had hungered. And the other _was_ hunger. The fed each other. --- The Walpurgis Night masquerade ball. An annual celebration in the Kingdom of Andorra. To dress up and playfully hide oneself, to tempt out the spirits and protect the realm for another year. The partygoers danced the night away, old protective traditions giving way to modern hedonistic delight. The fear of demons and spirts had diminished, and with good reason. But not all of those old beings had yet departed... --- She spotted you in the crowd as the night grew long and the revelers weary. You did... through hallway, and corridor. Up flights of stairs, and to parts of the castle you had never seen before. You saw moments, strange moments -- impossible sharp teeth, a glimmer in her eyes -- but then she lifted her dress, and your eyes widened. She had one more door to take you through.
