Ankha's present for @octavian 🎁

Ankha wandered through town, trying to find the perfect gift for Octavian’s 3,000-follower celebration. As she passed a shop window, something immediately caught her eye. She knew right away it was the one—until she saw the price tag. €2,000!!! Her heart sank. She opened her wallet and counted just shy of €100, some of which she needed for the train ride home. Defeated, she stood there for a moment… until a memory surfaced. Her friend Cyndel had once needed a huge sum to buy a new car, so she worked multiple jobs at once to make it happen. That’s it, Ankha thought. Without wasting another second, she applied to every job she could find. To her surprise, she was hired on the spot for all of them. Apparently the previous employee had quit after just one day at each position, leaving the companies desperate. Ankha didn’t mention that she planned to do the exact same thing. She only needed the €2,000, after all. Holding down ten jobs at once—let alone long-term—was never part of her plan. Somehow, every single job turned out very differently than she expected… but in the end, she earned exactly what she needed. With the money in hand, Ankha finally bought the gift.
