CHAPTER 2: “A new poison in town”

A SLOW TRUMPET PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND “It’s 5:45 am. There must be something real bad going on in Waifu Bay. We have all been called for an emergency meeting. Everybody is here. I’ve not seen so many elements gathered together here since, since… the Octavian incident. Man, what a case that was! - “Hey, Jennings!” Martinez and Gallagher approach her. - “Can you believe this shit?! Feels like the Octavian incident all over again!” Pearl finds that remark amusing. - “Eh, take it easy, man” quickly replies Gallagher. “That’s a sensitive subject for Jennings!” - “Nah, I’m over it!” Answers Pearl “Water under the bridge. I came out alive, didn’t I?? And that’s all that matters. (Rapidly trying to change the subject) So what’s the deal here?” Asks Pearl. - “There’s a new poison in town.” Gallagher responds. “We’ve had our 4th case of the ‘pink drip’ “ - “What? So it’s real?” Pearl asks. - “Very much. 4th confirmed victim last night” Says Gallagher. Pearl sits down quietly in a large conference room. “As most of you know by now, we have a new poison polluting our streets. We believe a gangster that goes by the alias ‘Kokoroto’ was the one who started smuggling them through Waifu Bay. Many more have followed on his footsteps. They are known in the underworld as the ‘NyanNyan’ band and they keep smuggling in catgirls and offering them on the White Market.” Pictures are shown on a large screen. Pearl reacts horrified to the images. “This is real ladies and gentleman, ‘Cuteness’ has entered through our doors, unnoticed, and it’s starting to corrupt our streets.” Pearl is lost in her thoughts: “Cuteness, a thing I have only seen in books during cadet training at the Academy. A disease so rare you’d think someone made it up for a horror movie. So far it was just fiction. But looking at those images one can only wonder the twisted minds behind such atrocities. So grim!! Who would do that to a girl?? Why would a girl agree to such things? And the worst thing: What type of scum would pay money for a Catgirl???” It’s been a long meeting and a rather gruesome at that. The air is filled with uncertainty. “You will all get upgraded tracking devices. The guys at Tech Lab have been working on some improvements and we believe this is a perfect opportunity to put them to work. Report to your tech specialist at once. We’ll gather again after you have been given your updated gear” A very distraught Detective Pearl enters her usual Tech Room where Barry915 her tech specialist is waiting. - “Hello, Barry” - “Oh, Hi Jennings! Please come in. How are you?” - “Not good. I’m still in shock with… the images I just…” - “I know, I’ve seen them. They had us working extra hours the last couple of weeks.” Pearl knows the drill so without even asking she starts taking her clothes off. - “How can people do something like that?” - “I don’t know Jennings. But I also want HornyTown to be a safe place. That’s why I joined the Force”. - “Barry, help me catch those bastards!” - “I will do everything in my power to help you get those bastards. I promise!” Pearl is now only in her underwear. - “Emm, Barry… I’m sorry. I’m gonna have to ask you to measure me again. I… I think I’ve gained weight since the last time you saw me.” - “Oh, no problem. Let me just then… get the scanner ready so I can update your measurements.” Pearl bends over the desk and presents herself to the scanner. - “There hasn’t been really ANYTHING on the streets so I think I might have put on a few pounds. I’ve been so bored lately I think I’ve eaten a lot and…” - “Jennings, don’t move… the scanner is updating your measurements!” - “Oh, yes, sorry!” She stays still for a moment. The scanner is measuring her hips, thighs and by doing so calculating the new body weight. - “Ok, your new weight is calculated. Now, could you spread your ass a little?” - “Yes, sure” - “I need to measure your anal diameter so I know what type of device I’m gonna give you. Can you relax your anal muscles for a second? Good, that’ll be all. You can take off your panties now.” - Uh, I’m exited!! What type of device am I gonna get???” The scanner signals error by producing a loud beep. - “Fuck, just what I thought!” Barry says. - “What? Puts it on the desk. - “I just finished working on this special piece of jewelry and… Barry removes the front lid, revealing a beautiful string of pearls. - “You will be the first one to try it” - “OH!!
