Aliens of Tassith: Garralok

Bringing to you today, the garralok. These bizarre, hollow-eyed beauties are the generally larger, more powerfully built of the humanoids on Tassith. They co-exist with the Edani, though it is a contentious peace at best. Garralok usually dwell within swamps or humid jungles, enjoying the moisture and damp air on their amphibian skin. Their heads are adorned with tentacles where most humanoids would have hair, and their faces are dominated by massive maws full of razor teeth and two nearly solid black eyes. It is believed, in their culture, that the eyes are the gateway to the heart and soul, so most of them hide one of their two eyes at almost all times. If they come to trust or love another deeply, they may choose to show their other eye as a symbol of trust. This practice was also used in their primitive era to keep one eye attuned to the dark and the other attuned to the light, so they could swap quickly. Garralok are highly competitive, heavily enjoying physical activities and sports. Sadly, their minds are not as keen as the edani, not that the garralok care all that much.
