Aquamarine the Mermera

Just a random character concept idea I had late last night. Might expand on it for a future idea. Anyway, this is a Mermera (merfolk + chimera), which are a race of highly magical amphibious demi-humans that have two different forms depending on their needs: a humanoid form and a "Beast Mode", where they take on a form similar to Calmarimon from Digimon (only half the size, more attractive, and can float when out of the water using magic). Their humanoid form is their "default" form while their Beast Mode is their primary combat form (thought they can fight in either form regardless, it's just that the Beast Mode is much stronger both physically and magically while their default form is more magic-oriented). They can learn any elemental magic but, obviously, have an affinity for Water and Ice, and a weakness to Lightning. They've also been feuding with humans for quite some time but both sides have largely forgotten the reason why they're fighting each other. Anyway, this is Aquamarine, a member of the Mermera race. She doesn't get along with other members of her race, thus is an outcast and lone wolf. Despite her somewhat hotheaded and brash personality she's a good girl at heart. She's also a proud beauty and shameless like other of her kind, not caring a bit if seen in the nude by anyone. She's particularly gifted in magical arts but struggles to keep her instincts in check when in her Beast Mode, most notably her lust for her human male companion named Red, leading to some... suggestive situations when in her Beast Mode. She's also a bit too trigger-happy when using her powers in Beast Mode because of her instincts and hotheadedness clashing with her rationality and sensibilities, thus can cause collateral damage by accident. That said, she does care about those she's close to and loves teasing/flirting with Red and bathing with him (especially since she loves getting his reactions to her sexual/nudity antics). Overall, an interesting character idea that I might expand upon if I feel it's worth tapping in to.
