These punk kids... Three gunshots plunge the street into terror; people scream and scatter. The sports car speeds off and vanishes into the night. I sprint across to the other side of the street. A young woman is sitting on the ground right where the shots rang out. She looks familiar... isn't that...? I run toward her. Hana: Linna? Linna, can you hear me? She seems frozen in shock. I hastily examine her; thank God, the bullet only grazed her face and neck. Hana: Hey, Linna! Snap out of it! The shock begins to recede, and she looks up at me in horror. Linna: Detective? Hana: It’s going to be okay; I’m here. The bullet only grazed you. Linna: It was her! That Amber. Oh God—Irene! What about Irene? Hana: Calm down. Where is Irene? Linna: She decided to walk home.
