I don't want to sound condescending, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but on the west coast you mostly have to deal with dry heat, I think. In western Europe, it's mostly the humidity that makes the heat unbearable. Even though it was 'only' 35°C where I live, the high humidity makes it so your sweat doesn't evaporate from your skin. This essentially means that your body has no way to cool down on it's own. This will result in a very suffocating feeling that could be comparable with up to 55°C of dry heat. (In freedom units that's 95°F and 131°F respectively. 😉) Then add in the fact that like 90% of homes over here in the Netherlands or the UK don't have an AC unit, because it's only needed like 1.5 weeks a year, and you get a recipe for disaster where lots of people actually die from the heat! 💀 Like I said before, I don't want to assume anything, but I just wanted to clarify the situation. ☺️ (So you can feel more sorry for us or something. 😂)

Beat The Heat! ☀️

Here’s my post for @cro_bo ’s challenge! The heat wave is proving TOUGH for the girls. As someone that lives on the west coast, I know how bad the heat can get 😮‍💨 But my girls are trying to get by. Let’s see how they manage 😅 Demi’s favorite thing to do is take a nice bath in her favorite human’s bathtub. Demons don’t really suffer from the heat, but her bodysuit definitely gets a little stuffy. Nothing a nice cold bath wouldn’t fix 😌🛁 In the same apartment, out in the living room, Kiana decided it was a a good time to try this “ice cream” that the human is always talking about. Due to the heat her body naturally radiates, the ice cream melts a little quicker than usual, but lucky none of it is getting on the couch 🍦 Unfortunately, heat waves don’t stop some people from working, so Leah is really suffering at work. She HATES the heat, and the AC at the police station just isn’t cutting it. Why’d they decide to give her the tightest uniform? 😓 Lola is more than comfortable in the heat of the Wild West, but there’s always a good reason to visit the nice waterfall just outside of their little town. A good dip in the water is just what’s needed sometimes 💧 There was 0 chance Pip was leaving her place during this insane heat. Her clothes are black that they’re super tight! Not a good recipe in the heat. Plus, the sweat would leave her makeup runny! Instead, she’s lying on the floor in front of her fan, wearing the least amount of clothes she can. Well, she could maybe wear a LITTLE less 🤏 🥵 Some girls are even melting- wait, who the hell is that?! Is she made of slime?! She’s getting her goo all over the floor! Someone get a mop!
