Remembering Claire

It's been two years since I last saw Claire. I never even got the chance to say goodbye. She didn't leave a forwarding address or a phone number; she just... vanished. All I have to remember Claire by is this photo, taken in her apartment. She's relaxed, enjoying her favorite herbal beverage, comfortable with being mostly naked, and giving me the warmest smile. Claire once told me that she considered herself a free spirit, that she lived in the moment, and that life offered many opportunities. She apparently found an opportunity, possibly in Denver, that appealed to her. To Claire, wherever you are: I hope you found what you were looking for.
