A woman. A woman who, to all appearances, is a streetwalker. A photo of a streetwalker looking like something from a science fiction/horror flick. Somebody had read Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" and apparently regarded the novel as a blueprint for creating artificial life. Judging by the photo, the woman wasn't stumbling or shuffling; she was walking with a perfectly normal stride. Well, normal stride or not, this was a mystery that needed solving. Was there a modern-day Victor (or Victoria) Frankenstein somewhere in the city, actually doing this?
