I was very honored to be included in that list and after I made a post to honor them back, I decided to share the love even further and feature 10* more creators who inspire me on BetterWaifu.

I went through everybody's accounts and picked out my personal favorites to pay tribute to.
I adhered to the 3 golden rules originally set by Octavian:

1) If there was a remix, I remixed it.

One lonely figure watched from afar beneath an old oak, disappointment clear on her face.
“Stupid Black,” she muttered.
“You were supposed to bring me ultimate despair.
I was a fool to think you could succeed where so many others failed.”
She turned and disappeared into the shadows.

The group lingered until a blinding flash lit up the sky, followed by roaring thunder.
A muffled sound came from the grave.
Suddenly a blue flame erupted from the soil, growing into wild cackling laughter.
Black’s ghost emerged from the flames, floating above his tombstone.

“Who gave you permission to throw such a boring funeral for me?!” he boomed with a wide grin.
“Was it you, my sweet little Nagatoro?”
She stared back in shock.
“If my funeral is going to be made into a post, it should at least feature panty shots!”
He snapped his ghostly paws.
A strong wind tore through the cemetery.

She parries a kick from the power suit and charges at me. I block her claws with my left arm while swinging my pistol toward her head with my right. Sparks fly where she struck my arm; I aim the pistol at her skull and fire. She staggers backward, and the power suit's pilot seizes the chance to knock her off her feet. We both back away from Amber as she rises from the ground once more. The pilot fires an energy beam from a weapon integrated into the suit's arm. It hits Amber and sets her ablaze; she freezes in place and smiles. Flames completely engulf her.

Pilot: That was very reckless, Ms. AD Police.
Hana: Excuse me?

We don't get to say anything else; the flames consuming Amber reveal her true form. It no longer resembles a woman—it is a machine. Its glowing eyes lock onto us; it is a figure out of a nightmare, and it attacks immediately. We narrowly dodge its attack, and it lunges at the Power Suit like a berserker. Damn—my gear is useless against that thing; I can only watch the two of them trading blows. My earpiece suddenly comes to life, snapping me back to reality.

Chris: Hana! Listen closely! The Chief has ordered the removal of the limiters on your arms. There’s a micro-EMP generator built into them; you can use it to weaken the Boomer enough for the energy beam to take it out. The generator should be available in your arm systems now. Quick!
Hana: What the— Chris...
Chris: I’ll explain later, but first you all have to survive.

The connection cuts out. Okay, I activate the generator; waves of energy ripple across my arms as it charges up. A message appears in my field of vision: EMP Ready! I take a deep breath and charge at the machine.

Hana: Hey, you piece of junk—I’m still here!

Its vocal mechanism seems to have failed; all that comes out is a low growl. But it seems to work—it breaks off its attack on the Power Suit and turns on me. I drop into a defensive stance, ready to block the strike and counterattack.

Pilot: Have you lost your mind?

The words burst out of her, and I have to admit—it *is* madness. The attack comes from the left, and I manage to parry it with my right arm. At the same time, the EMP charge focuses in my left fist; I strike its chest, and the charge transfers on impact. It staggers, its movements sluggish—it’s WOUNDED.

Hana: Quick! Fire the energy beam straight into its chest!

I scream as I dive for cover. The pilot wastes no time; she fires and scores a hit. The machine crashes to the ground. Its eyes go dark, and it begins to burn from the inside out.

Mason—that slick, smooth-talking asshole! He covered his tracks too well; I can't pin anything on him—not the body of the man who tortured me, the lab explosion, the contract killing of Irene, or the Boomer attack... yet I know for a fact he’s behind it all. I need to take another look at the Desouses—the place Akiko and I were during the attack. The owner... I’ve seen her before, but where? The alarm I set for 6 AM reminds me that I don't have much time left before the night shift hands over to the day shift. I stare into the open locker in front of me... there it hangs... my stomach turns... I haven't worn it since... my arms and hands ache... as it all plays out again in my mind's eye... the broken bones... the amputation... my heart starts racing, and I feel like I can't breathe. I force myself to use the meditation technique Akiko taught me and calm down. I have to face this; I won't let it control me. So, I stand up and take the black uniform out of the locker. Then there’s Terror2, the explosives expert, and Gildenstein, the pilot and hacker. Together we are the AD Polices Shadow Squad.

Linna is sitting on her sofa, lost in thought, when the doorbell rings. She finds nothing at the door but a letter with no return address. She picks it up and goes back inside. The letter contains a personal message and something else—something falls out of the envelope onto the table.

Linna: That’s Irene’s wedding ring?
