There's a sort of weariness that suffuses their being. Her body covered in many scars she has gained over the year. One could mistake it for the marks of her long fight — it would surprise many to know that most of her scars she got in a single night, during a blasphemous union. One she would not share. No wonder she smokes.

But there was once a time where she wasn't who she is now. 100 years ago, when modern-day society still thrived. She was an outgoing woman who enjoyed the night life. She was also a chemist and an engineer. Evelyn and Ray still wonder how they ended up as friends at times.
