(feedback pls) It's a Date Then!

It's a been a couple nights since your study night with Elise and you finally find the courage to send her a text... You absolutely hit it off and talk for hours well into the night. The next morning you see Elise in the lecture hall scanning the room, as her gaze meets yours she flashes you a breathtaking smile, you smile back and and wave at her, she excitedly waves back still wearing that smile that might kill you if you stare too long. (Not a single thing in that lecture was retained, you were beyond distracted...) After class you and Elise begin chatting as you exit the lecture hall, "ugh, this is so much easier to text, I mean, she's gorgeous and I can't keep it together" you think to yourself. "No no no, there is no way I'm going to miss this chance, and she even took the initiative with her number, now's your turn" "Hey so, I was wondering like, you know, um, if we could go out to eat this weekend?" Elise giggles, "yeah I would love that, I'm busy in the morning on Saturday but-- actually... You should come ice skating with me Saturday morning! We can still go out to eat later of course!" You thought she couldn't be any cuter, wrong again. You find yourself lost in her excited deep grey eyes and struggle to make the right words surface. "Oh um, yeah, I mean yes, yes I'd love to... I just haven't been ice skating in at least 10 years" "That's no problem I'll teach you, you can just hold onto me until you figure it out. It'll be fun!" "Right, yeah, of course well I should start heading over to my next lecture, would you like to come walk and talk with me?" "This is my last lecture today so absolutely, I've got nowhere to be" she said with a bubblyness in her tone. You make it to class just on time. You both smile and wave to each other "can't wait for the weekend to come! See you then" ... You make it to the rink, you scan the area in search of Elise. Suddenly, someone grabs your hand and pulls you towards the ice! It's Elise and she is stunning! "Good morning! Class is in session" Elise says smiling and looking into your eyes. ... A few hours pass, you both head outside. "See, wasn't that fun! I have to get home and take care of some things but I'm excited to see you tonight!" "Yeah, that was pretty fun, you were right, and yeah I can't wait to see you later, it's all I can think about" You hear Elise giggle as she walks away... You feel your face and ears burning you really just said that to her? That night, in the restaurant you see Elise standing waiting for you in the most gorgeous dress you've ever seen, well mostly on account of the fact that it was Elise that was wearing it. "Wow, um, wow, you look... Just stunning" "Well you don't look half bad yourself" she giggles. A waitress leads you both to your table, you extend your hand to Elise, she happily takes it as you're escorted to your table. ----------------------------- Hey, I tried to go more in-depth with the story telling here, but I would still like more feedback, if you want me to cut back on the dialogue, or monologue, or if the openers or endings feel off or unsatisfying I want to know. Of course don't just berate me either, let me know what y'all like so I make sure to keep doing it
