The power suit knocked Amber to the ground with a single blow. The force of the impact sent her skidding meters across the ground. I study the suit; it has a feminine build. Whoever is piloting it arrived not a second too soon.

Amber: Not bad, Knight Saber, but that alone won't stop me.

Knight Saber? The mysterious mercenary group that fights rogue Boomers? This is my first time seeing them, but to whom do they owe their allegiance? Those questions will have to wait; Amber is already back on her feet. Patches of her synthetic skin are missing from her neck, arms, and legs. Despite everything, she can still laugh—and it sounds truly diabolical. Where are the reinforcements? There’s no time; she’s preparing to attack. Sprinting with superhuman speed, she engages the power suit in combat. No, this has to end here! I sprint forward and unleash a hail of bullets at Amber. She parries a kick from the power suit and charges at me. I block her claws with my left arm while swinging my pistol toward her head with my right. Sparks fly where she struck my arm; I aim the pistol at her skull and fire. She staggers backward, and the power suit's pilot seizes the chance to knock her off her feet. We both back away from Amber as she rises from the ground once more. The pilot fires an energy beam from a weapon integrated into the suit's arm. It hits Amber and sets her ablaze; she freezes in place and smiles. Flames completely engulf her.

Pilot: That was very reckless, Ms. AD Police.
Hana: Excuse me?

We don't get to say anything else; the flames consuming Amber reveal her true form. It no longer resembles a woman—it is a machine. Its glowing eyes lock onto us; it is a figure out of a nightmare, and it attacks immediately. We narrowly dodge its attack, and it lunges at the Power Suit like a berserker. Damn—my gear is useless against that thing; I can only watch the two of them trading blows. My earpiece suddenly comes to life, snapping me back to reality.

Chris: Hana! Listen closely! The Chief has ordered the removal of the limiters on your arms. There’s a micro-EMP generator built into them; you can use it to weaken the Boomer enough for the energy beam to take it out. The generator should be available in your arm systems now. Quick!
Hana: What the— Chris...
Chris: I’ll explain later, but first you all have to survive.

The connection cuts out. Okay, I activate the generator; waves of energy ripple across my arms as it charges up. A message appears in my field of vision: EMP Ready! I take a deep breath and charge at the machine.

Hana: Hey, you piece of junk—I’m still here!

Its vocal mechanism seems to have failed; all that comes out is a low growl. But it seems to work—it breaks off its attack on the Power Suit and turns on me. I drop into a defensive stance, ready to block the strike and counterattack.

Pilot: Have you lost your mind?

The words burst out of her, and I have to admit—it *is* madness. The attack comes from the left, and I manage to parry it with my right arm. At the same time, the EMP charge focuses in my left fist; I strike its chest, and the charge transfers on impact. It staggers, its movements sluggish—it’s WOUNDED.

Hana: Quick! Fire the energy beam straight into its chest!

I scream as I dive for cover. The pilot wastes no time; she fires and scores a hit. The machine crashes to the ground. Its eyes go dark, and it begins to burn from the inside out.

As she passed a shop window, something immediately caught her eye. She knew right away it was the one—until she saw the price tag.

Her heart sank. She opened her wallet and counted just shy of €100, some of which she needed for the train ride home. Defeated, she stood there for a moment… until a memory surfaced.
Her friend Cyndel had once needed a huge sum to buy a new car, so she worked multiple jobs at once to make it happen. That’s it, Ankha thought.
Without wasting another second, she applied to every job she could find. To her surprise, she was hired on the spot for all of them. Apparently the previous employee had quit after just one day at each position, leaving the companies desperate.
Ankha didn’t mention that she planned to do the exact same thing. She only needed the €2,000, after all. Holding down ten jobs at once—let alone long-term—was never part of her plan.
Somehow, every single job turned out very differently than she expected… but in the end, she earned exactly what she needed.
With the money in hand, Ankha finally bought the gift.

*EMP ready*—the indicator lights up in my field of vision, and electric energy surges through my arms. It doesn't seem to have noticed me yet, and I have no intention of squandering that advantage. Its attention is focused on something outside the shop. I can see the flashing blue lights of squad cars; that must be the Anti-Boomer unit. Bursts of assault rifle fire cut through the silence of the night. Judging by the sound, though, they aren't doing much damage. I rush out of the shop and onto the street to assess the situation. The Anti-Boomer unit is firing with everything they've got, but their small-caliber rifles can't penetrate the armor of this military-grade model. The machine lets out a bone-chilling shriek before leaping up the side of the building toward the roof. Finally, amidst the chaos, I spot two familiar faces. "LEON! DALEY!" I shout. "We need heavier weapons, or we'll never get through its armor!" "Hana? What are you doing here?" Leon asks in disbelief. "Long story... that'll have to wait. Do you have an assault cannon with you?" "No, Hana—we're just the vanguard; the main squad is still ten minutes away!" Daley replies. "Shit... Okay, it's off the street—that's a start. Listen, secure the area; I'll try to pin it down on the roof until the main squad gets here," I say, and sprint off. "What?!? Fuck, Hana, stay here—it's too dangerous!" I hear Leon shouting, but the EMP is the only chance we've got. After a few minutes that feel like an eternity, I catch up to it. This time I have no advantage; he spots me the moment I step onto the roof and launches his attack. Damn, he’s fast—I dodge to the side as his claws slice through the air where my head had been just milliseconds before. I use the momentum to counter, but he anticipates it and dodges in turn. If his systems are functioning even minimally, he should have detected the EMP. He noticeably shifts into a defensive stance, waiting for me to make a careless mistake. The exchange continues: attack, dodge, counter. He’s exploiting the fact that he doesn't tire—damn it. "HANA! TAKE COVER!" A voice cuts through my concentration just as a burst of gunfire hits the Boomer. Daley—that fool—followed me... The machine shifts its attention and targets Daley. This is my chance; I focus on the unprotected section of its spine, just above the hips. That’s this model's weak point! I strike the weak spot with all my might, discharge the EMP, and immediately pull back. "Get away from him!" commands a voice with a mechanical distortion. I look back and only then notice the white power suit standing in the corner of the roof. "A Knight Saber?" the words escape my lips. No sooner have I spoken than the power suit sprints toward the Boomer with superhuman speed. Blades extend from its arms, and in a single fluid motion, it decapitates the machine and crushes its skull with a boot. Silence is all that remains; for a moment, we simply stare at each other.

Anyways, I still have some videos planned but I *really* wanted to use the cartoon art filter and make some really dynamic and fun content, so for this one I've made a sexy strip of Kira and included some generations of her when I was coming up with her concept. I actually really love this format, it's a lot of fun so I am definitely going to make more - then I can use them as storyboards for videos! I COULD make a whole story to get people *spicy* but honestly? I'd prefer for everyone to come up with their own hot stories with their imagination :)
