Examination: S0 appears by all cursory examination to be a human woman in her twenties. Her skin retains a glossy luster even when removed from external light sources. Her skin is several times stronger than normal human skin though the texture and malleability are extremely similar. Her hair has a weak but natural anti-gravity effect and remains luminous at all times though the brightness and color varies. The reason for these variations is currently not understood. The individual hair follicles have a soft and silky texture but degrade rapidly if cut or removed from her body fading away completely in approximately fifteen seconds. This has made dna analysis of her hair impossible.
Retrieved blood samples are also resistant to standard analysis. Her blood is closer to liquid mercury than to standard hemoglobin, though like her hair once removed from her body the blood samples degrade into loose photons over a matter of minutes making further study extremely difficult. This result is consistent across all samples taken from her body no matter the source. Current operating theory is that her body is made entirely of an exotic form of matter consisting of photons stabilized by an unknown force or effect into imitations of human anatomy.
She has remained comatose since her recovery, though by our best judgement her vital signs have remained stable and her overall condition is unchanged.
Biometrics: Though material analysis has proven difficult, some concrete results have been obtained. X-ray imaging has proven inneffective (resulting in a washed out image) but MRI imaging has yielded interesting results. Her body contains an extremely strong layered magnetic field. Despite this, almost no effects of this field extend past her skin. It is entirely contained in her body. What we are able to see of her internal anatomy via physical examination or endoscopy matched human standard anatomy including reproductive organs, digestive system, and respiratory system. Given that Subject Zero is known to have existed unimpeded in the vacuum of space, it is unknown what purpose these internal organs serve other than mimicry of the human form.
Brain activity appears highly accelerated over human standard. Approval for brain tissue sample pending a solution to the sample degradation problem.
Spectrographic analysis of her emmited light shows it to consist of all colors with a wavelength firmly contained in the visible spectrum with slight over lap into infrared and ultraviolet frequencies. No radiation or other deleterious effects have been observed, though some theorize that her internal magnetic field may be a "safety" feature keeping her natural energy from escaping into the world around her.
Precautions: Since S0's retrieval, the "Wishing Star" (117-A-Prime) has not been seen. Given the wishing star's use in S0's retrieval, the connection remains unclear. Two theories have emerged for consideration.
> The wishing star is a companion effect to Subject Zero. This would mean her condition and the appearance of the wishing star are intrinsically linked and by keeping her sedated we may be preventing the wishing star from manifesting.
> Subject Zero is the wishing star. This would mean the effect will not return to the sky as long as S0 remains in our custody, but also means that she granted our wish that directly led to her capture. If true, we should be cautious of retributive action upon her awakening or release.
In both cases, the health and safety of Subject Zero should be considered top priority during her containment as it is unknown what adverse effects may occur if the wishing star were to go haywire or be destroyed. Given the inherent danger in the second case, the decision has been made to keep her in permanent sedation indefinitely, pending a final decision by the site director.
