Thornia – The Queen of the Black Thorns

Thornia was once a guardian of the ancient Moon Forest, alongside Fay. While Fay tended to injured creatures, Thornia patrolled the forest’s borders and protected it from intruders. The two shared a deep friendship. When a foreign army began cutting down the forest’s magical trees, Thornia stood up to the intruders. But she could not prevent the destruction. Much of the forest died, and many of its inhabitants lost their lives. Amid the scorched ruins, Thornia discovered a Paragoni that had emerged from the spirit of a destroyed tree. She took the Pokémon in, and together they guarded the remains of their homeland. Paragoni evolved into Trombork. When the invaders returned, Thornia and Trombork’s shared desire to defend the forest sparked a natural resonance between them. Black bark covered Thornia’s body, and ghostly thorns grew from her antlers. But her grief gradually turned into an uncontrollable thirst for revenge. Seraphine promised her that she could restore their lost homeland if she obtained the nine crystals. Thornia joined her.
