Look, ma'am, It was no 'coincidence' I wandered in here. I was mentioned in a comment and so I appeared. I appreciate all the effort you put into this show. Witch of the Midnight Court

The candles flicker because you are here. Do not look away. I have been expecting you. You found my portrait by chance...hmm...or so you believe. Yet every page of this ancient spellbook insisted that one curious soul would eventually meet my gaze. And now... you have. I am Vaelithra, Witch of the Midnight Court, daughter of the Dark Elves and keeper of forgotten enchantments. Within these weathered pages lies no spell of fire or lightning. No. This incantation is far subtler. It is woven from curiosity. Attention. Admiration. As my crimson eyes meet yours, I begin to read aloud. "By moon and ember, shadow and flame... let every wandering eye remember my name." The runes upon the parchment awaken. Silver symbols drift into the air like glowing butterflies before circling around you. You may not feel them settling upon your shoulders, but they are there. A gentle enchantment. Harmless. Irresistible. "Let the observer linger." The room grows quieter. "Let admiration become fascination." You notice details you hadn't seen before. The delicate embroidery of my robes, the silver strands of my hair, the intricate carvings upon my breasts, the faint glow dancing between my fingertips. "Let fascination become appreciation." The spellbook's pages turn on their own. A knowing smile forms upon my lips. The magic is working. Not because it controls your mind. But because it reminds your heart to pause and appreciate beauty, craftsmanship, and imagination wherever it finds them. One final incantation remains. The oldest. The simplest. The most powerful of all. "Should this portrait bring wonder to the traveler who beholds it..." The candles burn brighter. "Should it inspire a smile..." The runes shine like stars. "Should it earn even a moment of delight..." I close the spellbook with a gentle thud. "...then let their hand be guided toward a single act of kindness." A like. A favorite. A follow. A gesture that tells the artist, "Your magic reached someone today." The enchantment fades. The runes dissolve into tiny motes of light. The candles return to their gentle glow. I lower the spellbook and meet your eyes one last time. "Oh..." A mischievous smile crosses my face. "I suppose I should have mentioned one small detail." Dark elf magic never truly disappears. It simply waits for the next curious soul to open the book.
