Naomi’s apartment was the polar opposite of the outside world’s chaos: immaculate, elegant, filled with the faint scent of expensive perfume and soft music playing in the background. But today, the usual serenity was completely disrupted by the whirlwind of energy from the girls getting ready for @octavian ’s Pool Party. —"Come on, Vesper, please... it’s a pool party, not a high-society funeral," Nana-cha insisted, trying to pin a neon floral accessory onto her best friend. "I know you’re the goth queen, but you’ve got to give me some color. Look at Naomi! She looks absolutely stunning." Vesper remained seated on the edge of the vanity, expressionless, serious, and quiet. She watched Nana-cha through the mirror without changing her expression, though deep down, she secretly enjoyed the attention from her best friend. —"Black absorbs the heat, Nana. It’s practical," Vesper replied in a flat, dry tone, though her eyes scanned the room with the subtle intensity of someone who is addicted to pleasure and knows exactly what she’s looking for at a party. "Besides, I don't need colors for people to notice I've arrived." —"She has a point, Nana," Naomi interjected, stepping out of her massive walk-in closet with a gentle, immaculate smile full of class. "Elegance doesn't scream, it insinuates. Though... I must admit the contrast between us is going to be delicious. @warmicestudios @parda @peterco and the rest are going to have a lot to process when we walk through that door together. Are the others ready yet?" Just then, Mika came rushing in from the hallway, still riding a massive adrenaline high with her hair beautifully messy, tossing the keys to her sports car onto Naomi’s glass table. Right behind her, lagging a bit behind and nervously adjusting the strap of her bag, appeared Cherry Bomb. Her classic biker jacket hung loosely over her arm, revealing the bikini she wore underneath. —"Are you guys really sure it’s okay for us to just show up without a formal invite in the post?" Cherry Bomb asked, biting her lip timidly, looking to Naomi for approval. "I mean... it sounds like so much fun, and I’d love to ride shotgun with Mika, but... what if it’s already too crowded with that new girl @terror2 mentioned, that Tara girl?" "Darling, look at yourself. You are gorgeous and bold. Octavian tagged half the world @barry915 @bad77 he knew perfectly well word would spread," Naomi whispered softly into her ear, making Cherry blush a little. "Besides, don't be nervous I have seen how look at @octavian, I know you wanna be there. Also you are a good friend with Cyndel, she'll let us in" Vesper stood up slowly, adjusting her dark swimwear with a fixed gaze that promised the best kind of trouble. —"Let’s move," Vesper said, sharp and concise, with the faintest, almost imperceptible curve on her lips. "Let Octavian think he has control over that pool for just a few more minutes."
