When 21-year-old college athlete Johnny jogs pass by her yard one warm morning, the neighborhood’s favorite cougar sees her perfect opportunity. With a sweet smile and a few carefully chosen words, she entices the handsome young man into “helping” with her garden. What starts as simple yard chores under the bright afternoon sun quickly blossoms into much more. Ms. Ondego gives Johnny plenty of very personal, hands-on instruction, teaching him all about deep planting, careful tending, and how to properly work her most private beds. After all, some gardens need a very special touch. They require a strong, young helper who knows how to finish the job thoroughly…and Ms. Ondego always gets hers done right.
