(I’ve refreshed my understanding of the rules and hopefully everything is okay this time. Removed the red from the relevant images, and posting back for posterity.) Turns out, I already had the perfect OC for this challenge. Some of you might already be familiar with her, but for those of you who aren’t, it’s Stealth-Chan! To the locals of Stardust Crossing, she’s a quiet but responsible resident of the beach-side neighborhood. To the music store, she’s their most frequent customer. To the gym, she’s the weirdo who shows up to do a full routine at 4am. And to her friends, she’s the diligent team mom, making sure everything that needs doing gets done. She’s quiet, shy, maybe even a bit awkward. But that’s who she is now, when things are quiet and she’s left her old life behind. But she has another name, one that wasn’t given to her by a special friend, but by a faceless agency that treated her like a tool. SC-009. That part of her is still in there, carefully tucked away under a certain wish. But her body still bears the scars from her injuries and augmentations and her mind still struggles with the after effects of her mental conditioning. She has no complete memory of her exploits as a commando under project Scathanch. No tally of the lives she’s taken. No case of medals to sort through and reminisce. Just an itch. A twitch in her trigger finger. A need to scan every space for threats and exit routes. A sense of unease when no one’s giving her an order. Even now, she surrounds herself with friends who always seem to need her help with something. At the very least, no one’s asked her to kill anyone yet.
