If the AI is drawing from the collective knowledge of art in a sense, this is a form of art. I look at generative as another technique that you must learn as an artist. Just like painting or drawing, you have to learn how to control the tools in order to create masterpiece. It's no different, just not traditional 💚

I'm a believer of the phrase "Art is in the eye of the beholder." Anything can be art so long as you think of it as art. Art isn't defined by the creator, but by the viewer.

Loved the thought (text) and loved the images. There is an old saying: Beauty is in the eye of the prompter (something like that 😋) and I truly believe that much of what we create here is pure art. Whether we think of it as Art or not.

Can AI Create Art?

Creating and enjoying art is deeply human. But can AI truly create art? My profile picture probably already gives you a hint about where I stand on some things on this page. And yet… I’m still here. I’m not here for the pure ‘how many dicks can destroy this helpless little thing’ content. I’m here for sensuality. For fluffy ears and soft expressions. For being genuinely amazed by creative ideas. (And yes… for tiddies.) So I keep asking myself: Do we see real art here? And who is the real artist? (I’m just posting some older images that felt artsy enough to me to illustrate my thoughts.)
