V: I’m a fortune teller! I’m down at the park everyday except Sunday. Services open as long as you see the sign. If the sign isn't there outside my tent, then I’m not in it!

V: That’s not how it works Johnny! I need to meet the person, touch their hand, feel their aura, look for the possibilities and try to figure out which one seems the most likely to come true.

V: I can give you a demonstration if you want?
> Maybe next time, we can book a whole segment for it. But for now, what do you do for fun?
V: I do food reviews on Stargazer. Honestly, my account has so many orbits that I think I get more money there than I make from fortunes. *giggles* If anyone wants to find me, the channel is VegaBites, all one word.

V: That’s sweet, thanks Johnny.
> No problem. Next up, what kind of music is your favorite?
V: Oh, I adore idol songs. Girl bands and boy bands. And video game music too. Stiff with personality.
> How about your favorite food?
V: Macarons, hands down. They’re so colorful and fun. They melt in your mouth and there's just… SO many flavors. They’re seriously the best.
> I always picture them as fancy for some reason, but you make them sound whimsical.
V: Life is all about chasing your whimsy. Never let the world steal your joy, even in the little things like snacks.
> Well then, where do you go to find that whimsy?
V: Oh, the planetarium usually. All the lights up on the ceiling… it's different from the actual sky. The real sky is romantic and mysterious, but the planetarium is cosy and exciting. They show movies there sometimes too, and that’s always fun cause it feels like you’re in the movie! *giggles*
> I see! Well, not yet. I haven't been to the planetarium myself.
V: You haven't? Well, what do you do for fun Johnny?
> Hey now, I ask the questions on this show *laughs* Alright, any special talents you want to share?
V: I enjoy gaslighting people. Oh, I promise I don't do that in my fortunes though. I take my work very seriously, but my friends can tell you I enjoy spinning a yarn about this or that until it gets so unbelievable even Star is calling me out. *giggles*

V: I would never.

V: Nope!
> And what’s your living situation?
V: I mean, you've seen the tent.
> You live your whole life in that little thing?
V: *snorts* No, not at all! I share a little loft with Star.

V: Oh yes! She’s my ride or die. The Supernova Sisters are unbeatable when we put our heads together.
> That’s cute, we love to see it. Is there anyone you wish you got along with better?
V: Azuki, definitely. I think I scare her away with my constant yapping.
> How about your biggest fear?
V: I don't like not knowing what’s going on or feeling anxious about an upcoming decision. I’m always worried it’ll blow up in my face somehow.
> Are you able to read your own future?
V: Yeah, but that also spoils the surprise. It’s a double edged sword.
> Sounds rough. Got a dream you still hope for?
V: I’m just here to have fun. That’s my hope for every day.

No matter if it's your first time or if this little show is a guilty pleasure, I’m your host Johnny Rocket and this is the Midnight Hour, Stardust Crossing’s local, home grown late night show. Tonight’s interview is with a guest I’m honestly amazed we got a hold of. Please, go ahead and say hello.
Y: Hello!

Y: Yulianna Novikov, but you can call me Yulie.
> I didn't even ask about nicknames yet!
Y: Sorry about that.
> It's no biggie! I wouldn't have expected someone with your outfit to be a little nervous about being on the air.
Y: I’m not exactly a people person. The lights and the microphone… It's a bit much.
> Not to worry, I’ll take it nice and easy tonight. Oh, and, for the sake of the listeners, our guest tonight showed up wearing a cloak and an itty bitty bikini and nothing else.
Y: You did say to wear something comfortable.
> Like pajamas, girl! Not that I’m complaining. Anyway, back to business. What do you do for work?
Y: Technically I’m unemployed.
> You’ve got a ruby bigger than my nose around your neck, you must do something for money? A lucrative hobby maybe?
Y: Well, I do collect comic books. Nothing rare or graded though.
> Dodging the question I see. Don't tell me it's selling spicy pics or something.
Y: Fine. I’m a vigilante. I beat up criminals and then I… liberate some of their illicit funds.
> Sounds questionable legally and ethically.
Y: You think so? I consider it a public service. I spend what I take so it goes back into the local economy.
> Hey, I wont judge. Is there a soundtrack for your late night patrols?
Y: I like cabaret music. Something… sad and sensual and nostalgic. Or jazz. Like a noir film.
> And how about your favorite food?
Y: It's hard to do better than a nice warm bread with butter and a bottle of Malbec.
> That feels like an appetizer. Are you the type who fills up on breadsticks before your meal arrives?
Y: *nervous laugh* Sometimes.
> Any special talents to help you take down the bad guys?
Y: I can turn into a bat.
> Hey now, I thought the goth thing was just a fun aesthetic, but are you saying you’re actually a vampire?
Y: That wouldn’t be the strangest thing you’ve seen around town, right?
> True enough, just curious. You have a favorite spot in the city?
Y: Outside the city. *laughs*. You know that little hamlet over the ridge, about 5 miles out?
> Oh yeah, it used to be its own town before it got lumped in with us. Lovely place. Do you live out there?
Y: No, I just like to visit.
> Got any pets?
Y: I’ve always wanted a cat. Maybe something with wings would be better though. Like a crow.
> What’s your home like?
Y: Um… about that…
> Oh dear, you have a place to stay, right?
Y: I actually have a hideout in town, but I can’t say where. Let’s just call it a secret base.
> Cool, cool. Very super hero coded. Anyone you’d want as a sidekick?
Y: Stealth-chan’s pretty cool. No doubt we’d make a great duo. I’d feel like her sidekick though, to be honest.
> How about a rival or nemesis?
Y: Hmmm. Maybe Vega? She’s just so… bright and bubbly. It's kind of exhausting just being around her sometimes. Don't tell her I said that though. Love you, V.
> Now that’s cute. We’ve been chatting up a storm and we’re low on time. Lightning round, coming up. Give me a big fear and a bigger dream.
Y: It's almost the same thing for me I think. I want to make a positive difference in the world. To be there for others, cause no one was there for me. So I’d be pretty scared of being unable to do that.
> That's kind of sad, isn't it? You're doing good now though, right?
Y: Yeah! I've got some good friends now.
> Love to hear it. What would you do on an ideal date?
Y: A late night carriage ride. The countryside or the city, doesn't matter. A full moon. Some fog. The works.
> Very Victorian of you. Any travel goals?
Y: New York City. It’s in so many comics I feel like I need to make a pilgrimage.
> Any spicy fantasies?
Y: I want to meet someone who can keep me busy all night. Like, even on the date. Playing footsie, sneaking little quickies, making moves in the carriage… especially in the carriage.
> Woah, that’s quite the game plan.
Y: You have to visualize it if you want it to happen.
> Oh, I’m visualizing. Any last words before our closing question?
Y: If the IRS is listening, and I know they are, don’t even think about it. I’m not paying taxes. You couldn't catch me anyway.

L: How do you do?
> That's all, don't want to introduce yourself?
L: It won't be that easy, I'm afraid. You may address me as Lady, for the purposes of this conversation.
> Oh, how formal. Is that a nickname?
L: It is an appropriate descriptor.
> I see. Now, you did sign a waiver as "Susan Olivine" for the show tonight, is that your legal name?
L: What do you think?
> Coy to the end I see. Fine fine, keep your secrets. I'm sure our audience won't mind a juicy mystery. Now, its my understanding that you own and run the local shop "Heart of the Woods", is that correct?
L: Yes. We have an enchanting variety of flowers, potted plants, and other natural curiosities all carefully selected for the local climate.
> Excellent ad read there.
L: Coming from you, I'll take that as a compliment.
> I'm sure some folks out there have visited your shop many times, but lets get to know the woman behind the counter a bit more. What do you do when you aren't tending to your plants?
L: I dabble in poetry. Haikus, usually. I find the strict structure amusing to work within.
> Any music you like to compose to?
L: Classical. Orchestral tracks, modern or antiquated. I'm quite fond of both Vivaldi and Kitamura, for example.
> I expected a cultured ear from you, but what about your pallete?
L: Have you ever had a nice cup of tea in the evening? With a lemon scone or a crumpet with clotted cream? Simply divine.
> I don't suppose a glass of iced tea and a blueberry muffin compares?
L: Its the thought that counts. Relaxation should never be taken lightly.
> Party hard and rest even harder, that is my motto. Now, I can probably guess, but what's your favorite place to hang?
L: To hang what? Pictures? Bodies? Speak clearly please, we are short on time.
> Oh, I... I'm usually the one worried about time here. I mean, where do you like to spend time after work?
L: Better. I spend a lot of time in nature. City life just isnt my thing. It does have its conveniences though, I won't deny that.
> Any special talents you'd like to share?
L: I can speak to plants.
> Like, metaphorically?
L: You'd be surprised how much they have to say, if you know how to listen.
> I see, how mysterious. What about pets?
L: I feed the wild birds, if that suffices.
> Good enough. What about your home situation?
L: I live at the shop. There's plenty of space behind the storefront.
> I see. What about friends? Anyone you're particularly fond of?
L: I have a young friend named Merci. She's a good soul. Soothing, in a way. I cherish our time together.
> And the other side of the coin, someone who bugs you?
L: Nail's antics can be a bit much to deal with. A few of our group bicker at times, but she seems to take pride in getting a rise out of someone.
> I think we all have a friend like that. I'm probably that friend to some people *laughs* but that's why I love this job. Anything keep you up at night?
L: Besides good company? *laugh* I think... the thought of living a cold, clinical life. A boring 9 to 5, a tiresome commute. It just seems dreadful. I'm thankful everyday for the support at my shop.
> If you love what you do, you never truly work a day. Speaking of, anything you're working towards? Any big dreams?
L: Eternal life.
> You sound serious?
L: Quite.
> We'll, if you figure it out, let me know too, alright? *laughs*. Lets get personal. Ideal date location?
L: I think the company is more important than the locale. Even snuggling on the couch is fun with the right person.
> That's kinda wholesome, actually. What about a dream vacation?
L: I've always wanted to see a tropical rainforest.
> Exotic! Any steamy fantasies to go with it?
L: At the risk of sounding corny, I'm more interested in the fantasy of true love. I want to know if it really exists.
> Don't we all, am I right listeners?
L: I'm serious. I've seen and done quite a few things that would flush even your cheeks, but I've yet to find that special someone. Is it too much to ask to find a perfect quiet moment and paint it into place forever?
> I'm sure wanting to revisit good memories is something a lot of us have in common. Time's almost up for this segment, so quickly, got a secret for us?
L: I have a high body count.
> I gathered as much, but you look young enough. And uh, we are talking about the sexy kind right? Not murder?
L: *silence*
