Girls Onsen Vacation

(Thanks @azariel for the idea!) “Thanks again for booking this trip Val!” Runie said as she carefully dipped into the water. Sweetheart laughed. “No sweat! Well, maybe a little sweat.” “A LOT of sweat by the looks of it.” Ember scoffed. Sweetheart grinned. “Relax, it’s not that hot. Come on in. The rest of you are gonna catch a cold standing around out there in these little towels. You too Vega, stop dawdling and get in here!” Vega cautiously dipped her toes in the water while covering herself. “It’s quite warm…” “It’s a hot spring! Thats’s the point. And why are you so shy all of a sudden?” “Is it really that hot? Maybe I’ll just dip my feet in…” Ember’s feet hovered over the steamy water without ever actually making it in. “The steam is enough for me,” Yulie said, “I’ll be in the shallow end if anyone needs me.” Sweetheart sighed. “You all are no fun. And you, Merci! Lose the towel. You’re gonna overheat.” Merci’s voice trembled as she spoke. “I…I can’t.” “Honestly, you girls can’t ever chill.” Azuki sighed. “This is a vacation. Try to relax. For once.” “Already on it.” Lady said. She tossed her towel to the side and leaned against the cool rocks at the edge of the water. “Ember dear, the water won’t bite.” Ember’s face flushed even more than it already was. “F-fine! You think I can’t handle it! I’ll show you…” She slid into the water quickly, without thinking. Once she realized she was in the water up to her chest and the heat wasn’t actually that bad, her expression softened. “See! It’s no problem for someone like me!” “Wipe that smug look off your face, you haven’t earned it.” Sweetheart smirked. “Merci, if you won’t lose the towel at least put your hair up before it gets soaked.” Merci was fanning her face furiously but almost jumped when her name was called. “Oh, right…” “Your face looks like a tomato.” Nail said with a pointed laugh. Merci’s towel slipped a bit as she tried to fix her hair. “Sorry, this all a bit much. I might be overstimulated.” Nail laughed. “I can show you what overstimulated feels like~” Sweetheart crossed her arms. “Nail, no funny business. Vega, are you getting in or what? If Ember can handle it, you’ll be fine.” Finally taking the plunge, Vega dropped into the water with a splash sending a ripple through the whole pond. Help me out.” Nail snickered. “Just cause she’s got those massive water balloons doesn’t mean she’s the oldest.
