They were saying goodbye to BlackHairedStudent. One lonely figure watched from afar beneath an old oak, disappointment clear on her face. “Stupid Black,” she muttered. “You were supposed to bring me ultimate despair. I was a fool to think you could succeed where so many others failed.” She turned and disappeared into the shadows. The group lingered until a blinding flash lit up the sky, followed by roaring thunder. A muffled sound came from the grave. Suddenly a blue flame erupted from the soil, growing into wild cackling laughter. Be better than I was. Don’t let it consume you.” He pushed the bubble forward. Immense power surged through me as it touched my chest, filling my mind with vivid close-up visions. “Hahaha… that takes me back.” Wings sprouted from his shoulders and he started to rise. As I felt our time grew short, I finally managed to speak. “Thank you for everything, Black! I’ll never forget your sacrifices. I promise to keep this power in check!” “Don’t think of this as goodbye, my friend. I’ll be watching from above—keep everyone entertained! Please tell Nagatoro I’m sorry I couldn’t keep my promise. Watch over her for me. She cared more than she let on. Oh, and if you ever meet the frogman, tell him I'm sorry as well. I'm very grateful to him for giving me a final chance."
