Joanie and Gumball

Joanie found a wee kitten in the barn about a month ago. Joanie looked and looked, but found no sign of the mother cat. So she decided to look after the kitten, whom she named Gumball. Joanie made sure the kitten got milk, along with some kitten chow she got at the local co-op. Gumball enjoyed the milk, the food, and Joanie's attentiveness. The kitten now follows Joanie around whenever she's in the barn. If Joanie sits down on a hay bale, Gumball jumps into her lap and starts contentedly purring. Joanie is happy that Gumball is doing so well.
