While praying, Zelda was enveloped by a golden light.
When she opened her eyes, she found herself in a dying forest.
The plants were gray, and even the animals had abandoned the area.
In the center of the forest, Zelda found Xerneas, whose life energy had been weakened by Echora’s experiments.
Zelda realized immediately that she hadn’t ended up there by chance.
She knelt before Xerneas and used her own sacred power to transfer energy to him.
Xerneas responded.
The entire forest began to glow.
Flowers broke through the scorched ground, trees straightened up again, and a massive crystalline antler appeared behind Zelda.
Her magic and Xerneas’s life energy had merged.
Among the nine strangers, Zelda later develops an understanding of the Resonance Crystals particularly quickly.
Seraphine therefore regards her as a potentially dangerous opponent.
