OC Introduction: Kari

Kari A lamia. A white-scaled lamia. Washed up on beach, far from her homeland, she was found by Gina. With some help from her friends, Gina was able to bring her home to recover. They soon learned that Kari had fled her village with the help from her mother. White lamias were considered a bad omen in her tribe. Her mother couldn't bring herself to kill her daughter so she raised her in secret. Over time, the tribe grew more and more suspicious. Eventually Kari was dicovered. Her mother was able to sneak her out under the cover of darkness. She got her on to a cargo ship. Her mother's fate is unknown. While entering port, the ship was struck by sudden storm and she was cast overboard. She drifted around the water until she washed up on the beach. Despite all of that she has been through, she still has a sweet and friendly personality. The only thing that matches her sweet personality is the cakes and baked goods she loves to make. While recovering, Gina discovered that Kari not only had a talent for baking, her warm and friendly nature made her much beloved to all those around her. With some financial backing from Gina, Kari opened her own bakery/cake shop in town, White Scale Bakery. A massive success, she had to hire some staff to help ease the workload. Even Gina checks in on her from time to time.
