S: My legal name? > Sure, we’ll start there. You can give us a nickname too. S: My legal name is Mio Aikawa. That used to be classified, but not anymore. Then I was SC-009, but Star named me Stealth-chan and now everyone calls me that. > Wow, that’s a lot of lore for your name. S: Is it? > Well, there’s a story for my name too, but we'll cover that another day. What’s your job? S: Elaborate. > How do you make money? S: Ah. I don’t. > You gotta earn a living somehow? S: I was given a pension. I still help with training at the local base, but that’s voluntary. > Wow. What’s it like to be retired at your age? S: [she shrugs] > That’s not an answer, what do you do with all that free time? S: I play chess at the local park. I go to my favorite record store. I listen to music in my favorite scenic places. Oh, and I look after the girls. They treat my house like a hangout spot… but I don't mind. > You have a nice place? S: I have a townhouse near the beach. > That’s prime real estate for sure. I can see why they like to crash there. S: It is tactically located. Clean sight lines, convenient escape routes… It's a good base. > You say that like you’re expecting an attack. S: Preparation is the first step to success. If you have a plan you can’t be caught unaware. > I see. You mentioned music, what do you usually listen to? S: Metal. Some rock. > How heavy are we talking? S: Depends. Nothing too severe. I like melodic riffs. Baselines. Drums that make you nod to the rhythm. That sort of sound. > I can vibe with that. What’s your favorite food? S: Pizza. It's easy, customizable, and it keeps well. You can eat it cold or hot. You don't need a plate or utensil. It's quite versatile. > How much can you say about your military background? S: I… worked alongside the military on occasion, but my unit was a separate division. > Like the CIA? S: Sort of. I can’t go into details though. > That's okay, what sort of things did you do there? S: That's classified. Sorry. > I see, that’s unfortunate. Is there anything you can share for the listeners? S: … I have several biological and mechanical enhancements that helped me with my assignments. I still have them. > Interesting! Can you give an example? S: Your ice maker is low on water. The pump is whirring. > We don't have an ice maker in the studio. S: Not here. Maybe… *pauses* 130 yards, that way. > That should be… the staff breakroom, maybe? What I have right now is enough. I don't want to lose it, or change it. > No vacation plans even? S: I like it here. > Well, as a local I’lm glad to hear it. *door noise* *whispering* > It looks like you were correct, the ice maker was low. How’d you do that? S: I could hear it. > Very impressive. S: Is your heart okay? > Hmm? Asking about my love life? S: ... I'd mention it next time you get a check up. Ita a little irregular, but its fine for now. > Well... I'll do that. Thanks, I think? S: [Affirmative grunt] > Let's move on here. You mentioned chess at the park, do you usually win? S: It depends. I normally don't take it that seriously, its just a good way to pass the afternoon if the other girls are busy with work or school. > Have you ever been to the arcade? S: Azuki's been bugging me to go. She says there's this annoying new player that she wants to team up against. > You should try it! And not just because they sponsor the show.
