Graduation Day but you’re not here.

She finally graduated from Naval Academy. The youngest person to finish the full program in record time. She received the highest honors, but couldn’t share that happiness with him. He was removed from his station because he could not be involved with “Private Property”. That’s what they called her <Private Property>. No Navy personnel is allowed to <Use Private Property> the report read. She didn’t have a chance to say good bye. No way to know where he was sent and he had to promise to stay away and not interfere. 🤍 After the graduation ceremony ended she went to say good bye in her own way. She “kissed” him good-bye. Blowing a kiss in every place that was meaningful to her. Every dock, every laugh, every wonderful moment. She was not allowed inside the lighthouses anymore so she said her good byes from a distance. 🤍 And finally, for the last kiss, she went to the place where their lips first met, the forest. There, in the exact same spot where they hugged for the first time, she looked up to the night sky and saw a shooting star. She made a wish. She asked the shooting star to see him one more time.
