Have you been wondering why Smash Ultimate hasn't received an update for the Nintendo Switch 2 yet?

The reason will probably surprise you!

Mr. Sakurai and his team have been hard at work on creating an enhanced version of the game that is NOT meant to be played by "good little boys and girls".

Here are the updated designs for the characters in the roster up to Brawl.

Unfortunately, some unpopular characters like Kirby and Pikachu had to be cut to make the game run at a stable 8K 120fps, but nobody really liked those characters anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem.

There were too many redesigns to include in a single post, so I'll upload the second half with the characters from Smash 4 and Ultimate tomorrow or the day after.

Mr. Sakurai might even have a few surprises left for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition that weren't even in the base game!
