A Shared Destiny At first, Seraphine views Echora as a mistake resulting from her failed ritual. When she discovers Echora’s existence, she believes she can finally create the perfect resonance with her help. Echora, on the other hand, sees Seraphine merely as her creator and a means to an end. While Seraphine wants to fuse the nine companions into an eternal unity, Echora plans to absorb not only the nine companions but also the nine rivals and their Pokémon. Their plans are similar, yet their longings differ fundamentally. Seraphine never wants to lose anyone again. Echora wants to truly have someone for the first time.
