Aliens of Tassith: Edani

Tassith is a world I've been writing for a TTRPG campaign I'm planning on doing. I finally thought of a name I don't hate, the Edani (ee-don-ee)! These sexy little critters are the primary native humanoid of the planet. They are agile, strong and compact, with elevated regenerative abilities (not quite Wolverine, but much better than a human). Their tongues can wriggle through open wounds to consume parasites in the blood. Their homeland on Tassith is a toxic swamp where their evolutionary path changed them to withstand the caustic environment and draw nourishment from anything they could find. Most of their kind are either white, grey, pale blue or pale green skinned/furred. Their most distinguishing feature is their natural markings and scales that contrast their fur rather heavily and seem to have no explanation as to the rhyme or reason behind their appearances and color patterns.
